CLICK HERE TO “TAKE ME TO THE NEXT LEVEL”

Note: Coming, October 7-8, is my Prosperity Summit with Mike Richardson in Newport Beach, California.
You can bring up to 5 people with you for one admission price. Let’s take you and your company to the next level.
Details: www.prosperitysummits.com

Recently, when I was in the Sarasota, Florida, area for two speaking engagements, I stopped by the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art on Ringling Plaza.

This area was literally the world headquarters for the circus. The Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus.

Started in 1870 by a gentleman named Ringling, in Wisconsin, the circus eventually became a worldwide phenomenon. He had seven sons. His youngest son was John Ringling.

The other sons all participated in the circus. John was the one with business sense and he built the circus into a worldwide attraction.

In the winters, in nearby Venice, Florida, is where the circus had its winter home. John Ringling and his wife Mable brought a lot of culture to the Sarasota area. They built an art museum, which to this day still attracts many visitors. Behind the art museum is their incredible original home in the area. They had several other homes around the country. But, the one in Sarasota was magnificent.

The reason I want to talk to you about the circus is that all of us, these days, at one point or another, feel like our lives are like a circus.

There are three rings all around us. There are all kinds of challenges. We may feel like a ringmaster, trying to deal with all of the stress.

We have financial challenges, health and work challenges, and challenges with relationships. Sometimes it’s just a little too much as we try to keep all of those plates spinning.

What if we could focus on the most valuable thing first? Would that help us to ease up on the feeling of being in the middle of a circus? I think so.

When we think of too many things at one time, the mind goes around in circles and we’re not affective in any one direction. I want calm and peacefulness for you.

Declare the affirmation below, the first thing every morning and the last thing each night, and see how productive it can be. Let’s let the term “circus” mean a fun evening under the big top instead of too much stress.

I hope to see you Wednesday morning on Lifetime Television on The Balancing Act, 7-8 a.m. Easter and Pacific time.
If you wish to book me for a speaking event, my number is 619-723-3007.

You are special. You are unique. You are destined for greatness. You are a Champion!

Are You Programming Yourself For Success

On a recent speaking trip to Rochester, New York, I had an opportunity to visit the George Eastman House. Yes, the George Eastman who created Kodak – the films, the cameras and so much more.

Just a few miles south of downtown Rochester is a beautiful house, where he lived, which has been turned into a museum.

The reason I’m talking about George Eastman is the following: I believe that, when he created his company, and developed certain unique processes for developing film, creating the Instamatic camera, and so forth, I believe he programmed his brain, his mind, for success.

And that’s why he achieved such worldwide acclaim.

But, too many people, and I’ve been as guilty of it in the past as anyone, are programming their minds for failure. Whenever we go around saying things that don’t help us, we’re programming our minds for failure.

Examples: “I can’t get any breaks. I can’t get my health to be in good shape. I can’t get ahead with money. I can’t get out of debt. I can’t start a business of my own.”

Those are all thoughts that go into the brain and program us for failure. Then, when we see any indication to prove one of those thoughts, we say, “Look, I told you that I never get any breaks.” And that is a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So, no matter where you are in life right now, no matter what your condition is with you health, your finances, or your relationships, you have the power to change those things for the better by starting to declare what you want and stopping to declare what you don’t want.

It’s like putting good software into your computer. You’re going to get good results. Bad software ends up in bad results.

If you think that you have been saying things to yourself that keep you from moving ahead, and thus programming your mind for failure, let’s turn those thoughts around.

It’s just a matter of turning certain thoughts around. If you want to get out of debt, just write an affirmation that says, “It’s easy for me to get out of debt.”

If you want to save money, “It’s easy for me to save money.” Want to create a great relationship? “I create great relationships in my life.” If it’s business, “I’m able to succeed in business.”

Just read those affirmations the first thing every morning and the last thing every night. Don’t analyze them. Just read them out loud. Give me at least 30 days of you programming your mind for success and I believe you’ll be amazed.

Incredible things happen when we program our minds in the right direction. And I think you’re going to be doing that right now. And, like George Eastman, I believe you’ll be amazed with what develops!

You are special. You are unique. You are destined for greatness. I see it in you. You are a Champion!

Since children are barraged by so much negative each day, wouldn’t it be valuable to give them a diet of positive thoughts? That’s what my new daily CD for children, The “30 Day Can Do Program for Kids,” does.

This is a great self-image-building program for children, 4 to 12 years of age. Each of the 2-minute daily messages is uplifting, encouraging, and the results are very positive.

As a bonus to the CD, you will get the “Can Do Workbook”, a great e-book supplementary teaching tool to the audio messages.

The “Can Do Program for Kids” CD is available, with the bonus e-book, for just $29, at the Boaz Power Store on my web site: Boazpower.com.

Taking The Trash Out Of Your Mind

After a recent seminar in Calabasas, California, I stopped at a beautiful park right off Highway 101.

Calabasas is about 15 miles west of the San Fernando Valley and northwest of Los Angeles.

There was a road next to the park which led up a hill. Over that hill was the Calabasas Landfill. In the greater Los Angeles area there are about a dozen landfills where some 16,000 tons of non-hazardous waste is disposed of every day of the year.

My message here is the correlation between the landfill over that hill in Calabasas and the negative thoughts that we allow to come into our minds in the form of mental garbage.

It’s simply amazing. I read a statistic that kids, by the time they’re four or five, have heard the word “No” thousands of times. And that has been imbedded in their subconscious minds.

So, if things don’t work well for us, we imbed that thought in our subconscious mind. When we think negative thoughts, we’re imbedding those thoughts in the form of garbage into our subconscious mind.

I’m thinking maybe it’s time to clear out the garbage from our brains. Because, the more trash and the more garbage and the more negative thoughts we have in our brains, the less we’re going to accomplish what we want to accomplish.

That is the problem. Now let me give you the solution.

In order to get rid of some of the garbage in the brain, it’s like a computer. What you put in is what you get out. Maybe you’ve heard the term: GIGO – garbage in, garbage out.

So, if you’ve got a bunch of garbage in the form of negative thoughts in your brain, then here’s what we need to do. We need to write down some positive affirmations that can override, just like a computer program, some of that negative garbage that you’ve got in your brain.

So, here are some positive affirmations: If you don’t have much confidence, then write down the following affirmation: I am a confident person.

Whether you believe it or not is immaterial. Just put it on the bed stand and read it out loud the first thing every morning and the last thing every night.

If you don’t believe that you’re a good manager with money, if you’ve gotten into debt over your head, then write an affirmation that says: I am a great money manager.

Read that the first thing every morning and the last thing every night, for at least 90 days, and you will be amazed how that will help to clear out some of the negative garbage that’s in your mind.

Isn’t it time that we took some of that mental garbage out and got rid of it and perhaps buried it for a long time to come.

Turning Your Driving Ambition Into Solid Goals

CLICK HERE TO “TAKE ME TO THE NEXT LEVEL”

I recently conducted two seminars in the Dallas area and had a free afternoon between events.
Since both of my children were adopted from the Edna Gladney Home in Ft. Worth, I took a drive to go by there. After that, I drove to the northern side of Ft. Worth to visit the old stockyards.

They do something at the Ft. Worth Stockyards that isn’t done anywhere else in the world. Twice a day, at 11:30 a.m. and then again at 4:00 p.m., they have a “cattle drive”.

That’s right. A “cattle drive”. A bunch of cowboys lead 16 longhorn steers down Exchange Avenue for everyone to see what it was like in the Old West.

As I was watching that cattle drive that day, I thought about the correlation between a cattle drive and our goals in life. Most people have no written goals and they eventually wonder “what happened?”

What if, in the Old West, cowboys conducted cattle drives with no specific goal. They would probably just let the cattle wonder off in any direction. They had to have specific goals and specific plans on how to accomplish their mission. Otherwise, failure was assured.

Thus, if you have not written down specific goals for the next five years of your life, shouldn’t this be your “driving ambition” right now? I think so!

Write down specific goals of how you want your life to be five years from now. Where will you live? What type of house or condo? What will you be driving? What do you want your state of health to be? How do you want your most important relationships to be?

Then divide those goals by 5 and define what portions of those goals you want to accomplish in the next 12 months. A further step would be to divide your 12 month goals into portions you want to accomplish in the next 30 days.

Then, like the cattle moving down Exchange Avenue one step at a time, get started on your short-term goals (for the next 30 days) and take one step at a time.

It’s important to actually “see and believe” your short-term, 30 days goals. If you don’t see and believe them, lower the expectations until you get to a point where you say “anybody could do that”. That’s when you’ll believe and achieve those short-term goals.

In time, many short-term goals, accomplished one after another, lead to the achievement of really big goals.

Be sure to identify some sensible rewards along the way as you achieve each goal. That way your mind will get the idea that good things happen when you make a concerted effort to achieve important goals.

Like the cattle drive I saw that day at the old Ft. Worth Stockyards, let’s drive your future in the right direction, with written goals and small initial steps.

Isn’t it time that we “steer” things toward a great future?
