Motivation can come from important signs in our lives. Thus, we should pay attention.
I recently spoke before a great group in Missoula, Montana. I’d been in Montana a number of times and was always amazed by the reality of the slogan “Big Sky”.
This time, however, the sky around Missoula was cloudy from smoke because of a number of wildfires in that part of the state that were being fought by a lot of brave fire fighters.
By the side of a street in the area, I saw the sign in the picture above that lets people know the conditions in the area and the level of fire danger that day. The day I was there, the arrow pointed to “EXTREME” and the sign simply reflected what I saw in the sky.
When conditions are dry, as they had been in Montana, and in California where I live, it doesn’t take much for a fire to start. Thus, it’s up to all of us to be more careful.
Just like the warning sign in Missoula, we all come across figurative signs in our lives that warn us about something.
Thus, high blood pressure is a sign of danger and mistreating people is a sign of danger. In addition, not managing money wisely is a sign of danger. The signs are there if we look for them.
Can you identify a sign of danger in your life? If so, why not do something about it TODAY? You could take one positive step in the other direction and see what happens. Let’s not wait until a situation gets to EXTREME!
“I watch for DANGER signs in my life and do something about them NOW!”
