END YOUR EVENT WITH A BANG

End your event with a bang.

End your event with a bang and it could make a positive difference in your bottom line! If you’re getting ready to attend a company event, you might be prepared for good food, team building activities, and presentations. However, getting a special closing speaker can really put the icing on the cake at an event that was meant to be memorable. A charismatic speech provides laughs, motivation, and a sense that a company cares about its employees. Whether it’s a conference or a holiday party, the benefits of a professional closing keynote speaker on attitude are almost infinite.

END YOUR EVENT WITH A BANG MEANS BETTER MORALE, MORE MONEY

Often an elephant in the room, morale is hard to talk about. But if you notice that the people in the office seem stressed or tired, it might be time for a pep talk. An attitude expert won’t have a bunch of mindless platitudes to share; he has cultivated a rich career and was in the same position as many people in your company at one point. He can share what kept him going and how a change in his state of mind boosted his performance. The bottom line is that providing people with tips on how to change their behavior for the better can increase the bottom line for your company.

MORNING BIRDS GET THE WORM

What do you do when you wake up in the morning? Do you rush to finish your morning routine or do you take a few moments to collect your thoughts before heading out? Believe it or not, it’s those few meditative moments that can change your world. No matter how busy your schedule, or what type of job you have, everyone should be taking the time to wonder “How can I be my best version of myself today?” A closing keynote speaker on attitude can share the stream of thoughts that run through his head and discuss how he transforms them into positive actions.

LEAVE COMPLAINTS AT THE DOOR

Voicing your concerns over a workload, or how someone got an unfair promotion, doesn’t help anyone. In fact, it subjects your coworkers to a toxic state of mind that might rub off on customers. The solution is simple: don’t. When you simply do the work that’s required, to the best of your ability, your performance will go up by a few notches.

A closing keynote speaker on attitude is the perfect addition to delicious food or exciting games. You and your coworkers can learn a lot about how to improve themselves and encourage their team while having a great time. Visit boazpower.com for more information.

POSITIVE MOMENTS CAN BE BENEFICIAL!

Positive Moments Can Be Beneficial!

Positive moments can be beneficial when we focus on them instead of what’s not currently working. What we focus on expands! Thus, we have to be careful what we think about. It’s easy to focus on the negatives and most people do. Champion focus on positive moments!

MY NORTHWESTERN EXPERIENCE

When I spoke in Chicago, I went by Northwestern University in Evanston. That visit was a case of nostalgia. I spent my 1965 summer, between my junior and senior years in high school, at the National High School Speech Institute at the university. The picture above of Northwestern is from questbridge.org.

That was an amazing summer as I worked in the radio and television studios of the university and got to know high school students from all over the country who were part of the program. Keeping in mind that positive moments can be beneficial, those were positive moments.

THE BASEBALL T-SHIRT IN ISRAEL

Something else that I remember with great fondness is what my uncle in New York sent my brother and me in 1956 when we lived in Israel. That was just before my family immigrated to the United States and my uncle sent us a couple of yellow T-shirts.

That’s me in the picture, after we arrived in America, when I was 9, along with my mother, in February of 1957.

I was wearing the T-shirt, which was from the old New York Giants baseball team. You’ll notice the old-fashioned phone, when it was wired into the wall.

POSITIVE MOMENTS CAN BE BENEFICIAL IN OUR MEMORY!

We all get depressed from time to time and I certainly do. Perhaps, at those moments, we should think back to simpler times that meant a lot to us, were positive experiences, and made us feel good.

That summer at Northwestern was very special. The feeling of wearing the T-shirt from America to school was very special. Those were positive times that I need to treasure in my memory bank and bring to mind when I feel down.

MAKING A LIST OF 10 MOMENTS

What if we made a list of 10 moments from our past that made us feel special and that we cherish? And, when we feel depressed, what if we took out that list and brought those moments from the past to the forefront?

Positive moments can be beneficial. Thinking about them could change our momentum and, for a moment, put the past ahead of us.

A NOSTALGIA DAILY AFFIRMATION

“I’m making a list of positive moments from my past and think about those to help me move ahead.”

POSITIVE THINKING BEGINS IN THE MIND!

Positive thinking really works. It begins with guarding our minds.

Positive thinking really works. It is important in determining the success of our future. That future begins every morning when we wake up. At that moment, we subconsciously make a decision as to whether we’ll have a positive or a negative attitude that day.

WE HAVE TO BE ON GUARD!

It’s harder to have a positive attitude. Because, in order to get that, we have to consciously guard what enters our minds. However, positive thinking really works and can improve our lives dramatically.

As I recently flew into Boston, for a speaking engagement, I noticed a fort in the harbor. As I later found out, this is Fort Independence. The fort’s picture above, from the web site theworldgeography.com, is of the oldest continuously fortified site of English origin in the United States. According to Wikipedia, “The first primitive fortification, called “The Castle”, was placed on the site in 1634.”

NEGATIVE THOUGHTS CAN BE DESTRUCTIVE!

Just as Fort Independence provided harbor defenses for Boston, we each need to defend our minds against negative thoughts. Negative thoughts can be destructive! Hence, it takes a real effort to focus on positive thoughts. That process begins by being careful with what we think and with whom we spend time.

Thus, the people around us are part of either The Building Crew or The Wrecking Crew. Spending more time with the first group and, as much as possible, staying away from the second, is really important.

In addition, it is said that we are the total sum of the five people we spend the most amount of time with on a regular basis. Thus, if those people are not at the level of success you desire, or on their way, then think twice about their impact on your life.

When it comes to positive thinking, the affirmation below may help to defend your mind against negative thoughts.

POSITIVE THINKING REALLY WORKS DAILY AFFIRMATION

“I guard my mind against negative thoughts, focus on the positives, and make good things happen.”
